Welcome to our Jewel Box, in the gulf front Compass Point building within the gated community of WaterSound! Compass Point is the closest Gulf front building in the main WaterSound neighborhood. Incredible Gulf views and beautiful interiors combine for a relaxing and inspiring vacation experience.

WaterSound is a walkers’ paradise with miles of trails within the neighborhood and adjoining undeveloped Deer Lake State Park. The gated Watersound community limits access only to guests staying in the neighborhood, making it perfect for quiet, peaceful vacations along 30A. There are many parks and nooks throughout the neighborhood to enjoy the amazing 30A weather year-round.

- Beach Chair Rentals available through La Dolce Vita with advance reservations recommended. All you need is your book and your sunscreen.
- Luggage carts available near the elevator in the parking garage
- At least one mid-stay clean is required for any reservation 10 days or longer and this cost is included in your reservation. Extra cleans can be scheduled for an additional fee
- Concierge services available, including grocery delivery, boat charters, and catered beach bonfires
- Golf cart rentals in WaterSound are restricted. Medical exceptions may be provided by the HOA on a case-by-case basis

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed this beautiful setting - on the beach yet set back with natural sand dunes & vegetation, so the views from this 4th floor condo were stunning. We enjoyed magnificent sunsets from the balcony - and - were treated to the almost full moon glistening on the water into the night. Walking the boardwalks to the beach, watching dolphins feeding, seeing multitudes of seabirds and listening to the sounds of the seashore on the backdrop of gorgeous emerald clear water and white sand makes this a beachlovers paradise. We sampled many restaurants nearby and enjoyed wonderful food and service.
The condo had everything we look for: it was immaculately clean and comfortable, plush beds, ease and convenience with everything we needed and more. Everything is as pictured. We appreciate this lovely gated community and the great care taken by the owner. Thank you!

Nice Spot for Family Fun

Condo was very nicely appointed. Clean and bright with a good view of the dunes and water through the large living room window. Check in with security and parking were very convenient. Access to the beach is a short walk over the dunes. The pool is right outside the condo and a convenient spot to take a dip after the beach. The 2 bikes came in handy to get around, and we rented 2 more for our kids. The HUB was a close destination and fun for families.

Only complaints were the sheets in 2nd bedroom were sandy upon arrival. Bed was made and it seemed as if the bedding was cleaned, but sand had found its way in. Also sheets in both rooms did not smell fresh. Time to change the pillows and maybe upgrade.

Watersound is an ideal location in 30A. Bike friendly and close to everything to do in Seaside, Seagrove and Rosemary. Water isn't as blue as other 30A locales due to lake water feeding into gulf, but still clear with sugary sand beaches.

Lovely condo, great view

We really enjoyed the condo and the Watersound neighborhood. This was our first time actually staying on 30A and we chose Watersound for its low density and quiet atmosphere. The unit was finished out to a high standard, unlike condos we've rented in the past at Sandestin. The bed was comfortable and we were pleased with the cleanliness of the unit; the quality appliances, full size washer, and kitchen setup; the TV, games, and movies; the lovely view, complimentary bikes, and garage parking. The only negatives I would mention are 1) the couch seat is stained and should be replaced if it can't be better cleaned, and 2) the patio furniture is not comfortable at all and has weird orange stains.

Spring Break 2023

We had a wonderful week in Watersound! The location of the property was perfect for our family with young children. We spent a lot of time at the beach and pool which were both right out the front door. The walkway to the beach is longer than other areas we have stayed in 30A, but the property is right next to the walkway so that makes it easy. The locker in the parking garage for the sandy beach toys/chairs was a huge plus. We loved the convenience of having the Dunesider restaurant at the pool and utilized it on several occasions. The beds were very comfortable. The tall ceilings made it feel extremely spacious. The labels on the oven knobs were worn off so it made it difficult to read if we were turning it on properly but we eventually figured it out. We would definitely stay in Watersound again at this property!

The Perfect Place to Stay on Vacation

There are lot or properties to rent along 30A—but if you want less populated, spectacular views, bicycles, tasteful furnishings, high-end appliances, comfortable beds, and large baths, then choose this property.
Twelve-foot windows face west. The view is a tapestry of aqua water to the left, wide, white sand beaches, 15-foot sand dunes covered in emerald green foliage, and architecturally pleasing wooden pathways to the ocean. If the sun is too bright, a massive screen can be let down that has its own remote control.
Directly across the street is a large, heated swimming pool, complete with a food bar where you can have a delicate fish sandwich and a glass of wine at most times of the day. This unit is on the 4th floor, the perfect height to see magnificent houses in every direction and again, and the best ocean view on 30A.
After you go to the beach and enjoy a spectacular sunset, walk five minutes to Bruno’s Pizza. Often there is music and delicious pizzas. Walk back and sit on your covered patio to watch the stars, listen to the ocean and end a perfect day.
I highly recommend this terrific property. It is a great location, clean, and management answers any question or addresses any concern.

What a View! Exactly what you expect.

This unit is exactly as described and as pictures depict. The view of the gulf awesome. Furnishings comfortable and well kept. Kitchen oven is a Viking but obviously old, and you could not tell temp setting and cooked very unevenly burning part of food. Since we were there for 30 days, we cooked more than the typical visitor so may not be an issue for most. Our only inconvenience was when demolition started on unit next door during our stay, but manager intervened to ensure it was not too loud. A little annoying while we were trying to work during the day, but the unit's location, view, and interior overshadowed the inconvenience. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Heaven on earth

View, comfortability, ease of renting, cleanliness and location are all top notch! This is my second stay and I plan on renting here again. the second I get out of my car, I am relaxed - - whether I am enjoying the gorgeous beach, the pool or sitting in the condo. The view in the picture window is everything. In my opinion, it’s the best spot on 30A for relaxation but you’re still close to everything(the Hub, Alys Beach, Rosemary Beach, Seaside).

Nice Condo

This was our second time to stay in this condo. I asked the owner to make sure the balcony was clean and it and the unit were spotless. This will be our go to place every year if it is available. The owners were very responsive when I had trouble working the tv. Looking forward to coming back. I don't want to recommend it to anyone, they might want the same week I want it.

Summer with Friends

Great location. Compass Point I. Condo #406. Perfect condo. Everything was as described with booking. Unit had nice furnishings and it was spotless with an incredible view of the beautiful gulf. A short 5 minute walk along the boardwalk and dunes to the beach. We had umbrellas and chairs set up by concierge service.
First time visit for friends. They fell in love with all that Watersound has to offer. From great restaurants to shopping and convenient 10 minute drive to the grocery store.
Overall great experience. Highly recommend this unit. Exclusive 30A made everything easy, from booking to answering any questions we might have. Highly recommend

A beautiful place for rest of relaxation.

This condo was so clean and the views were outstanding from every room. The rolling sand dunes create a barrier to any activity on the beach so you feel like you are truly on your own exclusive beach when sitting in the condo looking out. The sunsets are spectacular. It’s a great location right in between Rosemary Beach and Seaside. I love to bike (and they provided 2) and it was less than 30 minutes each way by bike. The Hub was only 5 minutes by bike. We didn’t get in our car the whole time we were there. Would love some kind of basket for the bike but we used a backpack we had. Certainly not a deterrent for the value of having bikes there. The whole rental process was a piece of cake too. Great communication and all information was right there in the app. I could not be happier. Already planning to return! Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!!

Watersound Escape

We have been going to Watersound for years, and have stayed in numerous houses and condos. We booked a last minute short stay (4 nights). The unit was perfectly located next to the community pool and beach access. The views from this top floor unit were stunning. The entire experience from booking to checkout was great! Beautiful

We rented Jewel Box for an anniversary trip with our best friends. It was the perfect amount of space for us. The condo was beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. It was very easy to get out to the beach. The view was spectacular! We especially enjoyed eating out on the balcony. The neighborhood was peaceful. It is very close to the Hub.

We chose this rental in Watersound for our vacation. This rental was perfect for our family of four. Our girls loved being able to walk from the condo to the pool or the beach in a minute. I liked the peacefulness and privacy of the community. The condo itself was very clean and nicely decorated. It had all the essentials, but we had to buy extra toilet paper and dishwasher detergent for a five night stay. The company did make us aware that they only provided a starter supply of these types of items. Beach towels were also not provided.

Girls Getaway

This place was a great spot for our girls getaway. The condo was shiny and elegant. It is on the top floor with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that overlook the dunes, beach and water. We liked being in a gated community, which cut down on the traffic. The community pool is very nice. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Enjoyed Our Stay

My sisters and I spent 4 days in this condo on the 4th floor. Our view of the beach and water was excellent. The furnishings were nice and we had everything we needed. The master bath did have a very slick tub and being senior citizens I felt it was unsafe. A grab bar in the shower would also be nice. The staff was friendly and we did have a restful and pleasant time while there .
